Your Role

 The ERP Finance Subsystems Lead is responsible for the functional ownership, design, and support of finance-related applications that are tightly integrated with the JD Edwards ERP ecosystem. This role focuses on end-to-end finance process integration across best-of-breed platforms including regional eInvoicing solutions, Coupa, Concur, GetPaid, Kyriba, SnapPay, and the Pega platform for finance master data. The ideal candidate will have experience in ERP systems, particularly JD Edwards, and will be responsible for driving system enhancements, troubleshooting, and providing functional support for optimal financial management. The ERP Finance Subsystems Lead will also collaborate closely with third-party support and delivery teams to ensure effective and efficient solutions are implemented to streamline financial operations. 

Vantive is a recent divestiture of a larger company.  The ERP Finance Subsystems Lead will be responsible for gathering, documenting, understanding, and in some cases, reverse-engineering existing systems and processes. The candidate will play a key role in cloning the current applications to stand up a new technology landscape to allow Vantive to operate separately and exit from the Transition Services Agreements (TSA).  This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed company and make a difference in the healthcare industry. 

What You’ll Be Doing

Functional Ownership & Integration Management 

  • Act as the functional owner for finance subsystems integrated with JDE, ensuring alignment with global finance processes and policies. 

  • Ensure that the Vantive finance processes meet all necessary compliance and regulatory requirements. Understand and monitor the regulatory and security requirements for the finance subsystems; ensuring compliance and proper protection occurs.  

  • Actively participate in our Cone IT and Own IT program to ensure the cloned applications are working as expected. 

  • Lead functional design and integration requiquirements between JDE and platforms such as: 

  • Regional and country‑specific eInvoicing / tax compliance solutions 

  • Coupa (Procure‑to‑Pay) 

  • Concur (Travel & Expense) 

  • GetPaid (Cash Collections / AR) 

  • Kyriba (Treasury & Cash Management) 

  • SnapPay and other payment or banking platforms 

  • Vertex (Tax) 

Finance Process & Business Partnership 

  • Partner closely with Finance, Treasury, AP, AR, Tax, and Compliance teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional system solutions. 

  • Support global finance initiatives such as process standardization, regulatory compliance, and finance transformation programs. 

  • Provide subject‑matter expertise on how upstream and downstream systems interact with JDE financial modules. 

Solution Design & Change Delivery 

  • Lead functional impact assessments for enhancements, integrations, and regulatory changes affecting finance systems 

  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet functional requirements while minimizing customization. 

  • Support system implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and regional deployments for integrated finance platforms. 

Solution Design & Change Delivery 

  • Define and execute functional test scenarios, including end‑to‑end integration and regression testing. 

  • . Provide Level 2/3 functional support for finance integration issues, including root cause analysis and remediation. 

  • Identify opportunities to improve automation, controls, and user experience across finance systems. 

Vendor & Stakeholder Management 

  • Act as the primary functional contact for third‑party finance application vendors and implementation partners. 

  • Review vendor solution designs to ensure compatibility with JDE and enterprise finance standards. 

  • Coordinate with internal IT, integration, and security teams to ensure reliable and compliant operations. 

What You’ll Bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. 

  • Strong understanding of Finance processes and best practices, with hands-on experience in system configuration and support.  

  • Hands‑on functional experience with one or more integrated finance platforms such as Coupa, Concur, Kyriba, GetPaid, or regional eInvoicing solutions. 

  • Solid understanding of end‑to‑end finance processes: Procure‑to‑Pay, Order‑to‑Cash, Record‑to‑Report, Treasury, and Payments. 

  • Experience with JD Edwards 9.2 or later versions is highly preferred.  

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.  

  • Experience working with third-party support and delivery teams to drive solutions and ensure timely project delivery.  

  • Project management experience is a plus, especially in leading ERP implementations or upgrades.  

  • Experience in cloning and owning applications is a plus, especially in the context of improving operational efficiency.  

  • Knowledge of supply chain processes, intercompany, and multi-currency setup is highly desirable.  

  • Ability to work with multiple geographies in a multicultural environment. 

  • Ability and maturity to manage senior level stakeholders globally.
