Your Role at Vantive
We are seeking a highly skilled JD Edwards Solution Architect / CNC Consultant to oversee the architecture and administration of our JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system. This role is crucial for ensuring system stability, performance, and security while optimizing infrastructure and supporting business needs. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in JD Edwards CNC, system administration, and architecture design.
What You’ll Be Doing
Oversee and manage the architecture of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
Install, configure, and maintain CNC components and software updates.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
Provide technical support for JDE applications, resolving infrastructure-related problems.
Work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to align JDE architecture with organizational needs.
Log management.
Monitoring activities for CPU, Disk I/O, memory, database
Using in-depth technical knowledge of ERP systems and Oracle JDE functionalities.
Identify improvement opportunities and direct teams for automation solutions to minimize manual tasks.
Maintain system security, data integrity and compliance with best practices.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
Optimize server configurations, database performance, and networking to enhance efficiency.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of overall experience, including at least 5 years in JD Edwards CNC administration and architecture.
In-depth knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne infrastructure and CNC configuration.
End-to-end new installation and upgrade experience across platforms
Proficiency primary in Oracle/SQL DB, combine with experience in at least one of the following: GoldenGate, JDE Orchestrator, Oracle Linux v7 and Windows server management and networking concepts.
Experience in Web Logic v12
Experience in SSO and LDAP integration
Familiarity with the AWS platform; certification is a plus
Experience with system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Ability to communicate in English (Advanced level) and interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud-hosted JD Edwards environments.
Knowledge of middleware integration and automation tools.
Understanding of disaster recovery and high-availability solutions.
Additional responsibilities include defining the technology vision for ERP (Oracle JDE) in alignment with business goals and objectives, collaborating with business and IT partners to understand needs, identify appropriate technology solutions, define the application landscape, and drive solutions with product owners. The role will also act as the guide for end-to-end Digital Core ERP Technology Architecture, develop incremental architecture states towards the end state based on product roadmap constraints, and ensure alignment with other technology functions and architects to deliver comprehensive solutions.
The selected candidate will develop architecture strategies, patterns, decision guides, and operate ERP architecture governance. They will champion clean core principles, foster a culture of standard processes, and communicate system design implications to business, and implementation partners.
