Your Role at Vantive

The Senior Manager – IT Project Management builds, leads, and develops a high‑performing technical Project Management team by hiring, mentoring, and coaching talent while fostering a culture of trust, respect, and accountability. This leader drives strong ownership and disciplined execution across a diverse project portfolio, including complex and high‑impact initiatives, and ensures alignment among cross‑functional stakeholders with differing priorities.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build, lead, and develop a technical Project Management team by hiring, mentoring, coaching, and performancemanaging team. members, fostering a culture of trust, respect, and accountability

  • Demonstrate strong ownership, execution focus, and role‑model leadership behaviors, including transparent communication and respectful collaboration.

  • Lead and oversee a portfolio of projects while directly managing selected complex or high‑impact initiatives.

  • Drive cross‑functional, vertical, and horizontal initiatives across one or more areas of the IT organization, ensuring alignment across stakeholders with differing priorities.

  • Partner closely with business and technology leaders to manage dependencies, increase leverage across initiatives, and collaboratively resolve issues through constructive dialogue.

  • Apply strong listening and comprehension skills to fully understand business needs, technical constraints, and stakeholder concerns before driving decisions.

  • Leverage technical understanding across Infrastructure, Security, Application Development, and ERP implementations to guide delivery discussions and trade‑offs.

  • Continuously measure and improve delivery efficiency, team effectiveness, and ways of working, identifying opportunities for improvement and transformation

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • 5+ years of technical project or program management experience, including 3+ years of people management experience.

  • Proven experience leading and developing teams of Project Managers (typically ~4–8 resources).

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively—not only language proficiency, but the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and levels.

  • Strong capability to listen actively, understand context, and translate complex inputs into clear direction and decisions.

  • Strong communication skills in English (verbal, written, and listening) .

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification or equivalent Agile experience.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to treat people with respect, build trust, and foster constructive working relationships across teams.

  • Strong facilitation skills, enabling productive discussions, effective conflict resolution, and alignment across cross‑functional stakeholders.

  • Excellent organizational, coordination, and prioritization skills in a multi‑project, enterprise environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with exposure to large‑scale enterprise systems and technical delivery

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English with clarity, empathy, and professionalism.
