Your Role at Vantive

Vantive is seeking a Techno‑Functional Professional with hands‑on experience supporting Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems from Siemens and PTC, along with other R&D applications, to support ongoing digital transformation initiatives. This role will support designated IT systems—including hardware, software, databases, and applications—and work closely with senior leads, architects, vendors, and business partners.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Siemens (Teamcenter) and/or PTC (Windchill) platforms, a strong understanding of product development lifecycles in regulated industries (medical devices, healthcare, or manufacturing), and the ability to execute within established architectural and governance frameworks.

What You’ll Be Doing

Implementation & Configuration

• Act as a IT single point of contact and key contributor for PLM platforms, including Siemens Teamcenter and PTC Windchill, supporting core and extended modules such as BOM, Change Management, and Document Control.

• Support end‑to‑end implementations, upgrades, and cloning activities for Teamcenter Unified, Windchill, custom SharePoint applications, and other R&D systems, working under the guidance of senior leads and in collaboration with SI partners and vendors.

• Perform system configuration, customization, and validation activities, including user role administration, access controls, licensing support, and routine system checks.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of SOPs, templates, and access models to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

• Assist with user training, workshops, and documentation to support adoption and effective system usage across PLM platforms.

System & Incident Management

• Work closely with the AMS team to support day‑to‑day operations of PLM and R&D applications, including incident triage, issue resolution, and service request handling.

• Monitor application health and performance metrics across PTC and Siemens PLM environments, and support issue investigation and resolution.

• Identify potential operational risks related to system performance, data integrity, or security, and raise them to senior leads as needed.

• Participate in incident triage, escalation, and communication with service desk, infrastructure teams, and incident commanders in alignment with SLAs.

• Support disaster recovery activities, backup validation, and system monitoring processes.

Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate with BRM/MRM, Enterprise Architecture, business owners, and other IT teams to support enhancements across PTC and Siemens PLM ecosystems and translate business needs into technical solutions aligned with existing roadmaps.

• Assist with system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to improve stability, performance, and security.

• Ensure PLM systems remain current and compliant, including patching, certificate renewals, and authentication standards.

Compliance & Validation Support

• Support application deployments in compliance with GxP and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.

• Participate in computer system validation (CSV) activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ documentation and audit readiness efforts.

• Maintain system documentation such as risk assessments, validation scripts, and traceability artifacts under guidance from senior team members.

What You’ll Bring 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in Information Systems or IT, with exposure to multiple IT domains.

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with PLM systems (Siemens Teamcenter and/or PTC Windchill), including administration, configuration, and integrations.

• Working knowledge of development technologies such as C/C++, Java, SPFx, C#, REST APIs, or similar frameworks.

• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies, version control systems, and testing practices.

• Understanding of product lifecycle processes including design control, change management, and document management.

• Experience supporting CI/CD or DevOps tools, including user administration, upgrades, license management, and environment support.

• Experience working in regulated environments with awareness of compliance requirements.

• Exposure to project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders.
