Technical Project Lead
Your Role at Vantive:
Join our team as a Technical Project Lead of our IT Service & Digital Delivery Commercial Team. You will lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering innovative, client-focused digital health solutions. This role involves strategic oversight of customer integrations, technical implementations, and team development, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives. You will collaborate across departments, mentor team members, and act as a key liaison between external partners and internal stakeholders, driving revenue growth and enhancing client satisfaction.
The Role:
The Technology Delivery and Operations, IT Service & Digital Delivery Commercial Team Lead is accountable for the delivery of all IT Service & Digital Delivery Commercial Team -based applications that enable our IT Service & Digital Delivery Commercial teams to grow their market while meeting their profitability objectives. In this leadership role, you will manage a mixed model of internal resources and external partners to support as well as create new applications to maintain and grow our business. The leader will be accountable for the delivery of differentiating capabilities of IT Service & Digital Delivery Commercial Team across different domains such as, Customer Service, Technical Service, eCommerce, Digital Health Products and other functions as required for differentiation in IT Service & Digital Delivery Commercial.
The role is a part of the IT Service & Digital Delivery Commercial Team leadership team and will be a peer to Commercial Service and Digital Health business relationship managers and our IT Service & Digital Delivery solution and product management team, while working with corporate IT functions that own enterprise platforms and applications. The role will need to help bring balance by ensuring that we utilize Commercial IT Service & Digital Delivery specific development only when delivering Commercial IT Service & Digital Delivery - specific and differentiating capabilities while advocating for enterprise products and platforms when differentiation doesn’t create business value.
The Commercial IT Service & Digital Delivery Leader is responsible for various aspects of technology within the area of Commercial Services and Digital Health, provides the necessary leadership, analysis and design tasks related to support the development of technology solutions to ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards.
What you’ll be doing
Delivery & Capabilities
- Accountable for the delivery of IT Service & Digital Delivery Commercial Team capabilities
- Responsible for the optimization of the delivery model for new development in the Commercial IT Service & Digital Delivery team
Budget & Project Management
- Accountable for budget management of IT Service & Digital Delivery Commercial Team based projects and application support for IT Service & Digital Delivery Commercial Team applications not managed as a platform service or enterprise application.
Solution Design & Architecture
- Owns the solution design and architecture for all Commercial IT Service & Digital Delivery–specific applications.
- Actively rationalizes applications with overlapping capabilities, balancing Commercial Team needs with global product and platform features.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Works with the centralized IT vendor management team, providing input into vendor reviews and strategic discussions to maximize value from primary vendor relationships.
- Accountable for relationships with software vendors and secondary managed service providers specific to Commercial IT Service & Digital Delivery.
- Active participant and influencer in operational and QBR meetings with primary support partners.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in digital/technical product ownership.
- Established commercial business acumen.
- Technical aptitude to convey and collaborate around the development of the desired functionality, particularly with cloud applications.
- Prior experience or ability to learn technical development architecture and configuration principles.
- Strong understanding and working experience with Agile approach and culture.
- Understanding the SAFe (Agile at scale) approach is a plus.
- Skills in prototyping and rapid ideation/discovery.
- Ability to work with multiple geographies in a multicultural environment.
- Ability and maturity to manage senior level stakeholders globally.
- Experience in working in regulated environments (i.e. privacy/compliance)
- Design thinking awareness and prior usage are strongly preferred.
- Project or team leadership required.
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal, written, and listening)
