Summary:
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) for Acute Therapies – CRRT Division is responsible for driving business growth, expanding therapy adoption, and strengthening commercial excellence across the assigned geography. The incumbent will lead sales execution, strengthen clinician engagement, and oversee distributor and key account operations for CRRT devices, consumables, and adjunct therapies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This section contains a list of five to eight primary responsibilities of the work. The incumbent will perform other duties as assigned.
Base Location: Coimbatore
Coverage Territory: Upcountry Market - Tamil Nadu
Strategic & Business Development:
- Drive penetration and increased installed base of Acute CRRT platforms (PrisMax).
- Build strong advocacy and therapy adoption among Intensivists, Nephrologists, Emergency Physicians, and critical care stakeholders.
- Identify and establish new business opportunities, including emerging accounts, new ICUs, and corporate hospital chains.
- Strengthen distributor capability, productivity, and compliance across assigned regions.
- Achieve revenue, therapy mix, and profitability objectives for the Acute Therapies portfolio.
Sales Planning & Forecasting:
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans for the assigned territory.
- Create account‑wise plans focused on secondary sales, consumption patterns, and therapy activation.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting for capital equipment and consumables.
- Formulate activation plans for therapy training, CME programs, demos, and clinical engagements.
Execution & Performance Management:
- Ensure adherence to SFE (Sales Force Excellence) processes—coverage, call average, customer segmentation, reporting, and funnel management.
- Drive product demonstrations, installation coordination, and post‑installation activities.
- Monitor inventory flow, ensure timely product availability, and coordinate supply planning with distributors.
- Support clinical teams in training ICU nurses, technicians, and paramedical staff on CRRT workflows.
4. Key Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, purchase stakeholders, ICU decision‑makers, and hospital administrators.
- Manage corporate accounts, tender participation, and pricing negotiations.
- Execute commercial strategies for Government and Corporate business segments.
5. Market Intelligence & Compliance:
- Conduct competitive mapping, product benchmarking, and therapy trend analysis in the territory.
- Track product‑ and service‑related complaints, coordinate with Quality & PV teams for closure, and ensure compliance.
- Ensure all field activities are compliant with organizational, regulatory, and ethical standards.
6.Education / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in science, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biotechnology, or related fields; MBA preferred.
- 5–10+ years of experience in medical device or critical care therapy sales.
- Experience in Renal Care, Critical Care, ICU equipment, or related high‑end clinical therapies is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in capital equipment sales and clinical selling.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and territory expansion skills.
