The Zonal Sales Manager for Acute Therapies is a role responsible for driving sales growth, market development, and profitability of the CRRT business across North India. The incumbent will lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team while building strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. The role is accountable for strategic planning, execution excellence, team capability building, and compliance with company policies and ethical standards.

Base Location: Delhi NCR

Coverage Territory: North India

1.     Sales & Business Performance:

·       Own and deliver zonal sales targets (revenue, gross margin, product mix) for the CRRT portfolio in North India.

·       Translate national business strategy into effective zonal sales plans, priorities, and execution roadmaps.

·       Drive sustainable business growth through penetration in existing accounts and development of new strategic accounts.

·       Monitor market trends, competitive activities, tender opportunities, and pricing dynamics to proactively adjust strategies.

2.     Customer & Stakeholder Management:

·       Build and strengthen long-term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), nephrologists, intensivists, hospital administrators, and key accounts.

·       Lead negotiations with large hospital chains, group purchasing organizations, and distributors in the zone.

·       Partner with distributors and channel partners to ensure effective coverage, demand generation, and service delivery.

·       Collaborate closely with Clinical, Marketing, Tech Service, Supply Chain, and Tendering teams to deliver an integrated customer experience.

3.     Planning, Forecasting & Governance:

·       Prepare annual operating plans, sales forecasts, and expense budgets for the zone.

·       Review and manage rolling forecasts in coordination with supply chain to ensure product availability and optimal inventory levels.

·       Track and analyze sales force effectiveness (SFE), CRM usage, and KPI dashboards to drive productivity and corrective actions.

·       Ensure accurate, timely reporting and adherence to internal processes.

4.  People Management & Capability Development:

·       Lead, manage, and develop a geographically diverse team of Area Sales Managers.

·       Set clear performance expectations, KPIs, and goals aligned to business priorities

·       Conduct regular performance reviews, field coaching, joint calls, and capability assessments.

·       Drive employee engagement, motivation, collaboration, and retention across the zone

5.  Compliance, Ethics & Values

·       Role-model and enforce company values, Code of Conduct, and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

·       Ensure ethical promotion and sales practices across the zone.

Education & Qualifications:
·        10–15 years of progressive sales experience in medical devices / healthcare / critical care.

·        Minimum 4–5 years of people management experience managing multi-state or zonal teams.

·        Proven track record of driving business growth and managing large, complex territories.

·        Prior exposure to CRRT, dialysis, ICU, critical care, or related therapy areas preferred.

·        Strong leadership and people development capability with a coaching mindset

·        Strategic thinking with strong execution and analytical skills

·        Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

·        High level of business acumen, financial understanding, and data-driven decision-making

·        Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization.
