Your Role
The International Logistics Superintendent leads the team responsible for operational execution to achieve the objectives of the international logistics process, while coordinating, planning, and overseeing all import and export activities carried out by the operations team.
This includes route planning, international transportation, and customs management to optimize costs and ensure efficient deliveries, enabling a smooth and profitable operation.
What You’ll Be Doing
Foster a strong culture of compliance and ethical business practices across the organization.
Drive the implementation of the Ethics & Compliance program, ensuring the prevention, detection, and correction of violations to applicable laws, Vantive policies, and the Code of Conduct.
Implement Vantive’s Code of Conduct, policies, and procedures, including but not limited to the Global Interactions Policy and Third-Party Policy, and provide support to related processes.
Identify compliance and legal risks for Vantive within the country/cluster and escalate as needed.
Ensure adherence to the annual local and global training program.
Comply with and monitor adherence to all area-specific procedures and documentation best practices.
Maintain continuous communication with all team members to cascade project updates, priorities, and operational requirements.
Ensure assertive communication and effective interaction with internal and external customers and suppliers to support the achievement of business objectives.
Maintain close and effective communication with management to report team and process performance, and to receive guidance and feedback.
Review operational KPIs regularly to evaluate performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Review and monitor the assigned budget, ensuring proper use of allocated resources
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in International Business, International Trade, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.
3+ years of experience in similar roles within logistics, supply chain, or international trade.
Proven experience leading and developing teams.
Experience working with transportation providers and customs brokers.
Experience in logistics and foreign trade processes.
Experience in cost analysis and general understanding of budgeting.
Knowledge & Skills
Fluent English.
Strong understanding of logistics and warehouse processes (transportation, customs brokers, suppliers).
Knowledge of import and/or export processes.
Basic financial knowledge related to cost structures and budgeting.
