Position: Associate FP&A Manager, Vietnam

Office Location: Vantive Healthcare, Ho Chi Minh City

Reporting Manager: Cluster Finance Head - Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam

Job Scope: Associate Manager FP&A is part of the MTV cluster finance team, reporting to the Cluster Head of Finance. Key responsibilities will be related to Vietnam. In addition, Associate Manager FP&A will expand to other parts of the cluster to join force in driving initiatives on MTV. Associate Manager FP&A will act as a finance business partner, working closely with key stakeholders at both local and cluster levels. He/she will gain business insights and connect these insights to financial performance and will provide financial analysis that will support key stakeholders make strategic decisions, drive business performance, and play a vital role in continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage monthly financial performance review and reforecasting and planning processes (long range plan, quarterly forecasts and annual plan-AOP)

  • Work collaboratively with accounting team to ensure timely month-end closing, P&L reflect accurate accrual and provision of revenue reduction, inventory provision and other expenses.

  • Work closely with APAC CoE to ensure monthly results, forecast and annual plan complete on time and with quality submission as per APAC/Global timeline.

  • Manage country financial performance through deep understanding on business dynamic, track & monitor both financial and business KPIs and provide insightful financial advice to drive country performance,

  • Partner closely with country key stakeholders and ensure on-time communication on financial outlook, risks and opportunities between country and cluster. Assess and verify information and assumptions using essential business knowledge.

  • Provide comprehensive financial analysis both regular & ad hoc request from key stakeholders, including (but not limited to) profitability analysis – pricing strategy and margin expansion, cost spending analysis and other relevant aspects of financial management.

  • Review current business processes & practices and drive standardization and simplification.

  • Assist Cluster finance on preparation and submission of cluster budget and planning cycle deliverables.

  • Participate in and/ or lead cluster/ Regional / global projects as needed.

  • Act as trusted business partner leveraging financial and business expertise to support / drive decisions

  • Ensure integrity of all financial data, controls and business practices

  • Create simple and common processes to drive operational excellence

Qualifications/Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required, a qualified CPA or equivalent is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with ambiguity.

  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.

  • Experience in managing 4PL and Full Distributor Model.

  • Advance excel skills; experience in Power BI or Tableau would be a plus.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Must be forward thinking and a leader of change in an environment that is constantly seeking opportunities to improve upon existing processes, create efficiencies and deliver results to business partners.
