SUMMARY

The Sr. Specialist serves as the primary functional escalation point within the SNC Process team for complex, high-impact, ambiguous, or time-sensitive notifications. The role supports the Leader, SNC Process in governance reviews, process controls, performance analysis, stakeholder coordination, documentation, and continuous improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrated ability to support a global process through disciplined triage, structured governance, cross-functional collaboration, and clear escalation. 
• Strong judgment and risk-based decision-making in complex, incomplete, or ambiguous cases. 
• Ability to distinguish process governance and monitoring responsibilities from functional execution and closure accountability. 
• Ability to translate operational data into priorities, risk insights, and actionable recommendations. 
• Strong facilitation, documentation, coaching, and stakeholder communication skills. 
• Ability to manage competing priorities independently in a global, matrixed, and regulated environment. 
• Continuous improvement mindset and ability to define requirements for process, reporting, portal, and workflow enhancements. 

QUALIFICATIONS

1.Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. 
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing Operations, Supplier Management, process governance, or a related function. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. 
• Experience supporting global, cross-functional processes in a matrixed environment. 
• Experience with supplier change notifications, quality or change-control processes, supply continuity, risk assessment, workflow management, or process governance is preferred. 
• Experience in a regulated industry is preferred. 
• Experience with data analysis, operational reporting, process documentation, and continuous improvement.

• Ability to manage complex cases with sound judgment, urgency, and limited supervision. 
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills across operational, technical, and leadership audiences.

• Ability to influence outcomes and reinforce accountability without direct authority or ownership of functional execution. 
• Ability to coach colleagues and promote consistent application of process standards. 
• Ability to challenge the status quo and recommend scalable process improvements. 

3.     Technical Skills

• SNC and supplier notification platforms: working knowledge of SNC intake portals, SQLM, TrackWise, or comparable supplier-change and quality workflow systems, as applicable. 
• Workflow and collaboration tools: ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and workflow or case-management solutions. 
• Analytics and reporting: advanced Excel and working proficiency with Power BI for KPI monitoring, trend analysis, backlog visibility, and management reporting. 
• Process excellence: process mapping, root cause analysis, requirements definition, testing support, documentation, and identification of automation opportunities. 
• Procurement systems exposure: Coupa and JD Edwards knowledge is considered an advantage where relevant to SNC assessment or stakeholder support. 

4.     Language Skills

• Fluent English required.

• Additional languages are considered a plus.

The minimum annual base salary for this position is €39,200. Your starting salary may be higher, depending on factors such as your skills, experience, qualifications, and the unique perspective you would bring to the role.
