Position:Maintenance Engineer (Production)

Location: Nikom Amata City Rayong
Job Scope: To lead and support the production maintenance team to maintain production equipment and critical systems in optimum condition, minimize downtime, and comply with GMP, EH&S, SOP, and regulatory requirements. The role is also responsible for handling engineering/maintenance projects and implementing predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability, cost, and productivity.
Job Descriptions:
1. Ensure achievement of minimum production downtime due to equipment breakdown.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs effectively.
Analyze breakdown data, MTBF/MTTR, machine trends, and condition monitoring results to identify improvement actions.
Supervise and train technicians in daily maintenance work and troubleshooting in production.
Supervise contractors to carry out servicing and repair of production equipment as per contract specification, GMP, and EH&S requirements.
2. Handle engineering and maintenance projects to support production, quality, safety, and cost improvement.
Lead assigned projects from planning, scope/specification, schedule, cost estimate, execution, commissioning, and handover.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, EHS, contractors, and suppliers to achieve project targets and timelines.
Prepare project documentation, quotation comparison, CER/CAPEX support, reports, and completion records as required.
3. Ensure all critical systems and production machines meet corporate quality standards to prevent non-conformance to specifications and SOPs.
4. Drive VIP and optimum operation budget.
Implement energy conservation, reliability improvement, and cost saving projects.
Motivate and train technicians to improve maintenance efficiency and equipment reliability.
Control inventory of production spare parts (Kanban) and support critical spare parts management.
5. Responsible for compliance with EHS procedures and requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), preferred Mechanical Engineer.
Min 5 years of relevant working experience in production machine maintenance and related jobs (Electrical and Mechanical related aspects).
Min 3 years in managing people.
Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to interface well with other departments and lead effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
In-depth process knowledge of Maintenance and related manufacturing equipment and processes.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing plant setting.
Ability to analyze and interpret scientific and statistical data.
Strong professional writing skills and ability to prepare technical reports.
Experienced understanding of cGMPs and other regulatory guidelines applicable to the medical/pharmaceutical industry.
Strong assessment and troubleshooting skills. Ability to respond to detailed inquiries, and present information to groups and senior management.
May be required to supervise multiple groups/shifts.
