·         Achieves desired technical outcomes through the indirect management of individuals and teams(s) and the direct completion of Materials Screening and Development, complex Product/Container Design and Control projects or programs within the boundaries of timing and budget.

·         Provides materials and design leadership for the Container product family.

·         Familiar with materials and container guidelines and requirements.

·         Work with BU, plant, quality, regulatory on product development, technical assessment, and customer complaint.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities.  This section contains a list of five to eight primary responsibilities of the work.  The incumbent will perform other duties as assigned.

Technical Expertise and leadership:

·         Organizes and provides technical leadership for the materials selection, product/container design, modification, improvement, trouble shooting etc. Also be technical expertise of materials evaluation and product/container design etc.

·         Generates innovative technical solutions to complex product-related problems through the use of multiple disciplines and technical principles. Provides guidance for robust use of DMAIC and critical thinking.

·         Familiar with materials and container guidelines and requirements.

·         Collaborate China BU, plant, quality, regulatory on product/container development, technical assessment, and customer complaints.

Qualifications.  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  List knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

·         Strong technical leadership and project management to achieve results. Ability to lead, manage and facilitate cross-function/division teams.

·         Strong quantitative and qualitative assessment skills and critical thinking skills in support of analyzing and solving complex problems through innovative thought and experience.

·         Technical experience of materials evaluation and development, product/container design, verification and validation, process etc.

·         Good knowledge and experience of materials.

·         Good communication skill.

·         Good English skills.

·         General knowledge of statistical techniques.
