Role overview
The Sr. Analyst, Global Mobility and US Health & Welfare Benefits will provide administrative and analytical support for Global Mobility and US benefit programs with possible future expansion to Canada. You will report to the Global Mobility Manager.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong ownership and analytical depth while maintaining a “roll up the sleeves” approach.
What you’ll do
Review, reconcile, and analyze vendor statements and billing to ensure accuracy, identify discrepancies, and highlight cost trends or improvement opportunities
- Monitor budgets and analyze monthly vendor spend, including preparation of financial reconciliations and variance analysis;
- Perform month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations, cross-charging of expenses, and preparation of financial documentation;
- Maintain financial records and oversee year-end activities for Global Mobility programs;
- Oversee U.S. domestic relocation processes with vendors and audits mobility employee status, initiating required actions as needed;
- Develop and manage project plans to support timely delivery of Global Mobility and benefits-related initiatives;
- Responds to internal and external stakeholder inquiries related to costs, billing, expense payments, and benefits administration;
- Responsible for monitoring and analyzing vendor spend, supporting budget tracking, ensuring accurate cross-charging, and contributing to cost control through billing review and reconciliation. No direct budget ownership.
What you’ll bring
- Practical knowledge: hands-on understanding of Global Mobility processes, relocation administration, vendor billing, and benefits mailbox operations;
- Theoretical knowledge: ability to interpret financial data, policies, and procedures related to costs and compliance;
- Systems knowledge required to perform the role effectively includes accounts payable and HCM platforms (e.g., Coupa, Workday or equivalent);
- Demonstrated experience performing financial reconciliations, cost analysis, and month-end close activities;
- Practical experience working with vendors and third-party service providers;
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee and financial information;
- Applied experience in a global or multi-country operating environment;
- Experience implementing or supporting process improvements within established governance.
Communication
- Regular interaction with internal stakeholders (HR, Finance, Global Mobility teams) to exchange information and resolve operational issues;
- Ongoing communication with external vendors to address billing, cost, and payment inquiries;
- Preparation and delivery of financial data, reconciliations, and status updates to management;
- Communication primarily focused on explaining factual, financial, and operational information; limited negotiation or persuasion required.
Innovation / problem-solving
- Operate within established policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks;
- Identify billing discrepancies, process gaps, and cost trends, and proposes improvements within defined standards;
- Apply analytical judgment to resolve routine issues and escalates non-standard or high-risk matters appropriately;
- Support implementation of approved process or system changes.

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree required;
- Minimum 3+ years of Global Mobility or US Benefits related experience;
- Specialized knowledge: working knowledge of U.S. Health & Welfare benefits administration, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, and ACA.
